1934 - Catastrophic flood struck western Oklahoma, particularly devastating the area around Hammon and the Washita River near Cheyenne. This event was especially surprising because it occurred during the Dust Bowl, a period of severe drought. So when an Indian said he had a dream about flooding, many white people thought he was crazy.

God is called by many names, but regardless of a person's faith or ethnicity, he cares deeply about each individual human being. He warns everyone before destruction comes, but most fail to listen.
Before we heard the term "FEMA camps", those Americans affected by the Dust Bowl and flooding volunteered to enter government welfare camps in California.
Recording from 1940:
- A man arrived in camp in California 1939. He found something good about what seemed like a horrible living situation.
- A woman also spoke. Lots of sickness there, but people helped each other.
