Have you noticed how poor their reputation is lately? But have you read the prophecies in God's word? Most churches will not talk about them.

1 Kings 9:7 KJV | Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people....

The prophecy in 1 Kings 9:7 KJV was fulfilled when the temple in Jerusalem was destroyed. Why? Because they forsook the LORD their God. Today there is a Muslim mosque on the temple mount, but the temple of the Lord is gone.
